DMCERA® Hexagonal Boron Nitride Powder
Hexagonal Boron Nitride (hBN) is a type of crystal made up of nitrogen atom and boron atom, also referred to as white graphite are non-abrasive, white powders with a hexagonal platy crystal structure similar to graphite, but with a much higher oxidation resistance at 800ºC. Its theoretical density:2.27g/cm3, specific gravity:2.43, Moh’s hardness:2. Boron Nitride powders have high thermal conductivity, low coefficient of friction, high dielectric constant and are chemically inert.
Advantages:
● High volume resistance.
● High thermal conductivity.
● High thermal shock resistance.
● Lubrication performance.
● Low reactivity with molten metal.
● Low reactivity with gases, solvents.
● High melting point, approximately 3,000℃ (Sublimation).
Applications:
● Lubrication and mold release.
● Filler for resin addition.
● Release powder for sintering of ceramics.
● Make paint for heat resistant and corrosion resistant.
